About Ben
Hello there, I’m Ben. I cover the business side of things here at Rose & Lily Interiors, but I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty either! I do all the heavy lifting and whatever else it takes to make Rose’s designs come to life. From hanging rods and drapes, wall art, and pictures to light carpentry and even building swing beds, I enjoy being the handyman of R&L!
About Rose
I’m Rose, designer, decorator, and the creative visionary of Rose & Lily Interiors. Growing up in India, I developed a deep appreciation for the wonderfully creative and authentic textiles, embroidery, woven rugs, and hand-crafted pieces made by talented artisans and craftworkers. I’ve had a passion for design and decor ever since. I strive to create meaningful designs by mixing the old with the new, such as coupling an heirloom piece that honors a family’s history with a new, hand-crafted element from a local or global artisan that compliments a space perfectly.
Much of my design inspiration comes from nature and the beauty surrounding us. God is the ultimate designer, and His handiwork is admired universally. His design can be seen in the gentle flow of water over smooth stones in a babbling brook. It can be seen in the intricate details of a flower petal, in the magnificence of the mountains, or in the artistry of a sunset. Similarly, I want my designs to be approachable and usable by everyone. I’m drawn to simple elements and natural color palettes.
